One of the women I've supported left a box of vegan gourmet cookies by my door.

With every bag I opened, good thoughts about her rose in me, and I blessed her in my heart.

And when the cookies ran out, I understood: without ongoing contact, that gratitude would fade too.

Until then, I never attached importance to souvenirs. The word itself even stirred something uncomfortable in me — almost an association with Goodbyes and parting.

But this experience made me think. I thought: maybe I too could start leaving souvenirs for others - and receive back, in return, blessing and good energy.

The answer came two weeks later.

I gave a talk to a large audience, and among those present were people I hadn't seen in years. Afterward, a few women came up and hugged me: "You're with me every day — I bless you every morning when I do the Light Shower technique you taught me. My life has changed."

On the way home I thought to myself: wow. So I do leave souvenirs.

I leave gifts behind, and each woman takes with her the gift that is most suited to her life. The gifts I leave behind aren’t objects, but values, tools for life, and shifts in consciousness. And every time someone uses these tools and experiences a change in her life, she remembers me, blesses me, and thanks me.

As a mother, you leave your children the most important Souvenirs there are: a good word at the right moment, support when things are hard, a shared experience. Souvenirs like these don't wear out. They become engraved in the heart, the mind, and the soul.
